Getting rid of that nasty spot

What's Lovely for November 24, 2010
Pretending that this Wednesday is really a Saturday, indicated by the fact that I started off the day in Hello Kitty pajama pants and am ending it with leg warmers. On a scale of lame to Barney Stinson, how cool am I?

Fun fact that you never bothered to know: These pictures were actually taken last week, but I never found the right opportunity to post them. Until now. Ugh, being away from the blogging world for about a week in real life seems to translate to six months. It's like when time goes faster in Narnia, only I don't get to go through a mothball-filled wardrobe that's really a portal to a new world where a satyr that looks oddly like James McAvoy greets me with nothing on but a scarf. Wait, can this please be just like Narnia?

As I was actually not saying, I wanted to talk a little bit about the top I'm wearing in these photos. When I initially heard of Nasty Gal, I thought of something akin to Girls Gone Wild. Thank goodness in actuality they were closer to Girls Gone Wild's mature older sister, Girls Gone Wild with Fashion While Fully Clothed. When I saw this leopard print (I'd like to think that y'all know how I feel about leopard print) on sale, it was pretty much meant to be. But enough waxing poetic about clothes... it feels more than slightly shallow to go on about my wardrobe when it's Thanksgiving (or as a particular HIMYM fan appropriately called it, Turturkeykey day), tomorrow.

Yes, Thanksgiving. However, something seems a bit off. For one, as I'm writing this, there's a nasty thunderstorm outside that's just about to simmer down. It's funny to think that it's been dreary (as what I'd imagine London would be) in late November when I heard that the Northeast coast has been having snow days. And forget the South, where I imagine they're BBQing a massive turkey as we speak. Speaking of speaking about turkey, I won't be having turkey this year (did I just hear a collective intake of air known as a gasp?). In my defense, and as much as I love turkey, I'm also a practical person who knows that sharing even the tiniest hormone-injected turkey between two people will be a disaster. So, my mom is excited to prepare a smaller, more Korean type of dish; but don't worry, it's still mm, mmm, meat. Personally, I'm looking forward to the stuffing and mashed potatoes. YUM.

Have a happy Thanksgiving, everyone! And for those who're not American, I hope you have a happy random day tomorrow for no reason at all!

LOL Nasty Gal does sound like some kind of Girls Gone Wild or dirty site, hahahaha. BUT ALAS IT IS AMAZING, just as your top is. And James McCavoy totally looks like the centaur, dang, never realized that. xD

HAPPY THANKSGIVINGNGGGG

So who cares when you took these pictures and when you're posting them...all I can say is I NEED THOSE GAUCHO PANTS. You really wear them well, not sure I could pull it off quite the same way.
