I'm singin' in the-- oh WAIT.

I'm afraid I come off as a total poser (haha get it), but it really was dangerously overcast when these pictures were taken, so the umbrella wasn't just a prop. Despite the bird-chirpin'-blue-skyin' good weather yesterday, the weather decided to take a bipolar turn and it was raining on and off all day. I actually find that it's harder to dress for a rainy day than for a cold winter day-- at least on a cold winter day, I don't have to constantly worry about the wetness factor of my feet. I don't know about you, but I prefer not to walk around feeling like I just stepped in a swamp.

I'd prefer it is my rainboot/durable boot collection was a bit more varied. Though I like the shape of these boots, I'm not crazy about the bland olive color. They make me wonder if it's possible to spray paint a pair of boots effectively... Bad idea or worse idea?

I gotta love Pink's direction. "Go walk on that path and turn back and look EMO." Done.

What's missing from this photo? Hint: I look like a dumbass if the umbrella isn't going to good use.

The picture on the left is also Pink's doing: "Pretend you just saw the cutest puppy in the world!" Apparently when I see cute puppies, I eat my hands.

What's Lovely for March 11, 2010: Getting a free compliment.

My university is home to the Free Compliment Guys who basically stand somewhere on campus and yell out random nice things to innocent passerby. Today, they were stationed outside the building of my last class when they caught sight of me and one of the guys (there were actually one guy and one girl, so I guess "guys" was a broad term) said "HEY I LIKE YOUR SCARF." Unfortunately I had lack of a witty remark, and went the boring route by smiling and thanking him. But I totally had a ball watching the duo compliment others-- "I like your beard! Sweet sideburns! I like your pink folder! Nice headphones!" (that last one fell on deaf ears)

So thanks, Compliment Comrades. Your random comment made my day.

IT'S BRITNEY, BITCH.

PS: Lady Gaga "Telephone" video premiere anyone?!!??! Aaaaaaaaaaaagh, I'm going to go crumble into unintelligible nonsense now, what a mindfuck.

My mom's reaction? "Don't wear make-up like that."

I can't make any promises, Mom.

Love this outfit; the blue dress is gorgeous and the white tights are so fresh with it. And free compliment guys? Wild!
P.S. I actually like a lot of animes (and mangas) so it is hard to pick a favorite, though I used to be a much more avid watcher/reader when I was younger. I think Gundam Wing is my favorite I was in love with Heero when I was 12 and you never forget a first love... ;)

Aww I wish we had compliment guys! Sweet sideburns. Hehe classic.
Sorry, I know you love Gaga long time, but what the hell was that video? I mean, what actually was it?! And the guard on the left that walks her in at the start, looks like bloody Micky Rourke in the wrestler!

Ha! Well, I gotta say, I don't hate wet feet as much as you do, but I'm also lucky to own a few cheap pairs of shoes that are actually pretty waterproof, and are not rain boots. I try almost every pair I own out in the rain when I get a chance, and it's amazing to me which shoes stand up to the challenge. Like sometimes even stuff from Payless and Kohls.
