S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y night!

alternative text
Goodness, please excuse the lighting here. Just need to request an umbrella, professional lights, etc. for Christmas. Just about 10 more months to go!

In order to justify whatever ungodly hour I woke up this "morning" (hint: it was clearly not morning and barely the afternoon when I awoke today) and the pajama lounging that subsequently followed, I went out to hang out with friends and party. Problem solved? Uhm... YES.

For the occasion of gussying up for Saturday night, the only real special thing I did was blow dry my hair a little differently so it puffed out more in a bob. I also varied my look from hanging out/jam time with friends to office party (the term "office" being used loosely) to accommodate each occasion. However, the only real differences were: less layers, belt and red lipstick for the party. Either way, this outfit was a last-minute deal. But the weird thing with some last-minute outfits is that they turn out ok. Has this ever happened to anyone?

I say that I slapped on this outfit, but be warned. Actually slapping on clothes may cause second degree burns, rashes and eating stuff that isn't food (necklace, omnomnom).

It was at a friend's house that I found today's What's Lovely. And it is quite lol-worthy, ifyouknowwhatImean.

I realize that it's redundant to have a caption for a captioned picture, but this caption apologizes for the lameness of the other caption. If anyone else has a better lolcat capshun, feel free to jump in.

What's lame is that one song I like to listen to before a party to pump myself up is Tik Tok. Not kidding. Yeah, that "brush my teef (I swear she says that) with a bottle of Jack" song. It's truly terrible; the first time I ever heard it, I thought "wow, this sounds like a pre-pubescent 12-year old boy with too much auto-tune." It's still true, but... I'll be damned if it isn't catchy, and the perfect pump-up song. Any guilty pleasure party songs you like to listen to?

The top two photos show how drastically different in bulk I become outdoors to indoors. It's like I lose 10 pounds purely in clothing. Best diet ever, or greatest diet ever? Side effects of this diet may result in ridiculous poses and facial expressions.

Wow I love the belt you are wearing! It is such a statement in the outfit. Also, as I am new, where in the Midwest are you? I am in the suburbs of Chicago. Always nice to find people near.

TIGHT TWINS! I like all the textures you used. Especially the shot with the coat and multiple scarves. Charlene you make me laugh and laugh. Like literally. Your description of Tik Tok, and apologizing for cheesy captioning via a caption just made my day.
YOU ARE SO AWESOME.
