Trapped in the Closet

I admire the girls who continually go outdoors for their photo shoots during the wintertime. Of course, with some lucky few who live in an area near the equator, it isn't a particularly daunting task. But I chickened out and hid in my closet-- literally.

Cardigan&knit scarf- TJMaxx : Leopard scarf- Urban Outfitters : Jeans- Old Navy : Belt- Walmart? : Socks- the bunny trail

I've never took pictures in my closet before, but I actually ended up liking it. In a way it's symbolic, right? Outfit pictures taken where the outfits have come from... or... OK, that was my feeble attempt at being esoteric.

I bought the white knit scarf in the fall, and I'm glad I did. Not only did I anticipate how bitter the wind can whip your face (they seriously do, it's cruel), but I was inspired by the recent surge in infinity scarves. It's like having a sweater around your neck! Sure, I have my puff winter coat, but it's all about the layerslayerslayers, amirite? I'm forever trying to find ways to be "creatively warm;" and in 20-30 degree weather, it's a given.

And yes, those are bunny socks. I'm not apologetic for them.

I'm so jealous you have a mother who can do stuff with wool to make into a sweater. D:

I like your scarves! My hands did start to go a bit numb when I posed in some frost today and I started to question my sanity...
