Blame It on the Bad Romance

Contrary to what should be generally an optimistic mood, I've been feeling very ... down. There's really not much else to describe it. I could blame it on the lack of sleep, blame it on work, blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol (clearly, I'm not functioning correctly).

Today started off the first day in what seems like eons in which I had to wake up well before noon. Blasphemy! Despite my efforts to ride the bus to work, it was a fail situation where I was extremely lucky to have my friend pick me up from the bus stop. Which was good, because I was going full on cuckoo's nest for at least 20 minutes inside my glass case of emotion (except more plastic+metal-doors).

My situation was like this, only less photogenic and with more ice. (I also forgot where I got this picture from, dang.)

So who do I turn to in my times of need?

OHAI
She's like my security blanket. A security blanket of shiny gold deranged arthouse experimental pop fashion crazy goodness.
(I got the picture from here.)

So my What's Lovely for January 4, 2010 is: The therapeutic quality to listening to "Bad Romance" repeatedly, then attempting to learn the dance. Thank Gaga. :) I can't wait to see her next week.

I was a little frightened of it when I first saw it. Then I promptly became addicted. :D I love the bizarreness of it all!
